Premium grade aliphatic formulation that can be used in temperatures as low as 5°C.
Formulated to provide high strength bonds on hardwoods and exotic timber species.
COMMON USES
Bonding hardwoods and exotic timbers, edge and face gluing, panel and frame assembly, solid wood and fine furniture, general workshop applications and laminating.
ADVANTAGES
High wet tack
Quick drying
Excellent machining and sanding properties
Bonds are heat and moisture resistant
Glue line will accept stains and lacquers
Cures to a rigid glue line with no creep
PROPERTIES
Viscosity: 8,000 cps
Solids: 45%
pH: 4.0
PREPARATION The timber surface must be clean, dry, and free from grease, oil and sanding dust. Freshly prepared timber surfaces will always give the best bond performance
TECHNICAL DETAILS
Material base: Aliphatic Resin.
APPLICATION METHOD Adhesive should be applied as a thin, even coating to one surface only. Parts should be combined, while the adhesive is wet, using good even pressure, (30 to 150psi is recommended). For full application details see the Tech Data Sheet.
APPEARANCE
Light Tan
ODOUR Typical PVA odour when wet, no odour when dry.
LIMITATIONS Not suitable for structural applications - mechanical fasteners are recommended for heavy loads
