WL8000 is a high performance easy mix 1:1 ratio thixotropic solvent free epoxy glue for industrial use. WL8000 is suitable for bonding structural elements fabricated from wood, fibreglass, concrete, stone, marble, pottery, metal, (ferrous and non ferrous) and some plastics. When cured WL8000 is almost invisible due to its transparent thin film characteristics.
COMMON USES
Extensively in the manufacture of bench tops but also formulated for the furniture and joinery, shop fitting and boat
building industries.
BONDS Very versatile adhesive will bond most porous and non-porous materials including steel, aluminium, carpets, wood & panels.
ADVANTAGES
Easy mix 1:1 ratio
Gap filling
Non slump on vertical surfaces
High strength
Waterproof
Excellent creep resistance
Good chemical and abrasion resistance
PREPARATION The surfaces to be bonded should be dry and free from any contaminants such as oil or dust. Fibreglass, timber, painted, or metal surfaces should be thoroughly sanded to provide a good key. Concrete surfaces should be wired brushed. Mixing 1:1 by volume
