White, hot melt adhesive for high strength bookbinding, designed to run in modern fully automatic machines.
APPLICATION METHOD
Working Temperature 160 - 180 degC, measured on roller. Technomelt Q 3635 usually is applied without primer with an application thickness of 0.5 - 1 mm on a dust free paper surface. The ideal coating and spine preparation depend to a great extent on the paper quality, fibre direction and cover weight respectively.
ODOUR
Little odour hot. No odour cold.
CLEAN UP
For the cold cleaning of surfaces on application equipment, conveyor belts or other machine parts, Melt-O-Clean can be applied. Melt-O-Clean is based on natural resources and facilitates manual cleaning even in case of pronounced charring. Before using Melt-O-Clean, its suitability for lacquered and synthetic coated surfaces should be tested.
